Mid-Week Message

from the Developmental Lead Minister

March 15, 2022

“Each morning we must hold out the chalice of our being to receive, to carry, and to give back.”

One of the goals identified by the congregation for this time of developmental ministry is the review and renewal of the mission and vision of the First Unitarian Universalist Church of Nashville. Your Mission/Vison Task Force needs your input to do this work. Your hopes, dreams, and visions for the future are the fuel that makes FUUN’s chalice flame burn warmly and brightly.

Your Mission/Vision Task Force has made it as easy as possible for you to participate in the process. You can find information here at firstuunash.org/visioning.

Make a plan right now for how you will participate. Not only will you be contributing to charting the future course of your spiritual community, it is a good way to reconnect as things begin to reopen more fully.

Truly, the strength and vitality of this community is dependent on the participation of all who consider this place their spiritual home. Won’t you take the time today to consider the chalice flame that has been held out to you, the many gifts you have received from this community, and how you can give back?

With gratitude for each and every one of you –
Yours in shared ministry,

Rev. Diane
