• There were updates on the Board goals:
Supporting CRE: Chas Sisk will attend the next team meeting as the team transitions into work with Rev. Jennifer Hackett Minister of Faith Formation.
Fellowship Opportunities: A policy directing how individuals and teams can schedule fellowship opportunities was approved. The procedures will be developed and published with the policy.
Financial Stability: The board subcommittee will meet later this week to review current information.
• Information about our mortgage loan was reviewed and loan options are being explored.
• A charge for a Governance Committee that reports to the board was reviewed and will be amended for board approval.
• The agenda and voting process for the special congregational meeting on May 4 was discussed. All are welcome to attend but only eligible voting members can vote. There will be a check in process for both in-person and online voters.
• The stewardship pledge drive has officially ended but many people have not yet responded. The team will be contacting those who have not pledged yet. Please pledge now!
• Cyber security for the church continues to be explored.
• Look for information to submit nominations for the Virgina Grantham and the Joan and Joe Moore awards soon!
• A presentation by the Beloved Community to present information at the annual meeting was approved.
• A volunteer form submitted by the Operations Team will be sent to our insurance agent for review.
