The FUUN Board of Directors met 12/16/25. In recognition of the central and important work the staff does, the board decided to provide a holiday gift to staff. The staff was very appreciative of the gift and personal notes of appreciation. In our reflection time led by Rev. Charlotte, we spent time reflecting on what FUUN offers to the world that no other place offers - e.g., why would someone new come to this congregation. We prepared for the community conversation scheduled for Jan 11 on social justice. Open questions for the conversation will center on: What are we, as a progressive faith tradition, called on to do at this moment? And what are we, as an organization, comfortable risking in order to live our values in public? We also discussed and continued to refine FUUN’s organizational chart and structure. We also voted to amend the charge of the Community on Shared Ministry to include their role in reviewing requests for ordination, affiliation, and aspirant sponsorship and making recommendations to the Board with respect to these requests.
