The FUUN Board of Directors met 02/17/26. In our reflection time led by Rev. Charlotte, we reflected on how we want to “advertise” ourselves - what aspects of our church are most important to get the word out in order to reach and keep new people? We discussed the results of the risk assessment survey, and Rev. Charlotte plans to share the results with the congregation. We reviewed the annual budget proposed for fiscal year 2026-2027 and approved the proposed budget of $683,250. We finalized a new Fundraising Council charge as well as an organizational chart visualized in two ways. We also agreed on a process for board members to review and provide feedback on the first section of the Board Policy Manual submitted by the Governance Committee. Finally, based on the recommendation of Rev. Charlotte and the Faith Formation team, we voted to extend Rev. Jennifer Hackett the position as Minister of Faith Formation for Children, Youth & Families to her permanently.
