The FUUN Board of Directors met 9/16/25. Our new governance structure is designed to allow the Board to do more visioning work, so we opened with time for reflection on something that is most special to us about FUUN and that we would be very upset if it was gone. The general theme was that the people and community are why we all keep coming back to FUUN. We settled on two big board goals for the church year: (1) live into our new governance structure and (2) develop a strategic vision. We also discussed several aspects of the Committee on Shared Ministry (COSM), including appointing a small task force to finish the charge for the committee, identifying additional people to serve on the committee, and creating an Installation Planning Committee (Rachel Rogers will organize the installation committee). Bethany Rittle-Johnson will be calling for nominations for the Virginia Grantham Award and the Joe and Joan Moore Award.
