FUUN Board Meeting Summary
June 17, 2025
• Ben Legg was approved by the Board to serve in the vacant at-large board position. The congregation will vote on the election of Ben to this position at the next congregational meeting.
• A proposal for repairing the sanctuary air conditioning was discussed. The board approved the Operations Team in conjunction with the Finance Committee to finalize the terms within discussed parameters.
• There will be a board orientation meeting in the next few weeks. Barbara Snook, Board President beginning July 1, will organize the agenda and offer date options. The meeting will help new board members fully understand the duties of the board and it's members as well as how it functions.
• The transition of individual board member functions, such as meeting technology management, bank signatures, etc., were clarified to ensure the board’s continued smooth functioning.
• Jessica Moore-Lucas, our current past-president and an aspirant minister, was affirmed by the Board to preside over religious rites, such as marriages.
