Midweek Message August 11, 2026

Our Interim Director of Music Ministry, Josh Figueroa, will spend his last day in this role with us on Sunday, August 16th. 

Following Wesley King's departure last May, Josh stepped in and immediately began familiarizing himself with UU hymnody while supporting the needs of our choir and worship. I have been grateful to work alongside him crafting not just the music, but the themes and even the messages for our services as well. He often helped me prepare the sanctuary by vacuuming at the last minute, creating beautiful altar table designs, and even polishing pews! I have valued him as a member of our staff and I hope he, and his wonderful boys, will always feel welcome in our sanctuary. 

Together we will express gratitude for the time and talent he has shared with us during the service on the 16th and I know you will join me in wishing Josh the very best on his next grand adventure.
