Hello Dear Ones!
We have had an incredible first year of co-ministry together. I don’t know about you all but I am exhausted! As many of you know, it is traditional for Unitarian Universalist ministers to take both vacation and study leave during the summer months. Study leave consists of 4 weeks of planning, reading, and writing without the additional responsibilities like preaching, meetings, administrative details, etc.
As we wrap up the 2025/2026 congregational year I wanted to share details about my time away this summer.
My last Sunday in the pulpit for the summer will be June 7th, though I will continue working through my attendance at Ministry Days, General Assembly, and Pride until late June. With vacation and study leave combined, my first Sunday back will be August 16th. If you have a pastoral care need you are invited to contact Lisa Pasto-Crosby, Lay Ministry Team Lead via Breeze or call our administrator Jen Orth at (615) 383-5760 to be connected to support.
Vacation details for the rest of our full-time staff:
Rev. Jennifer Hackett, our Minister of Faith Formation for Children, Youth, and Families will be away June 19th- July 10th, then plans are still underway for the rest of July and into August. Please see a future e-blast article from Rev. Jennifer with additional details.
Jolyn Emrys, our Membership and Communications Manager, will be on vacation from June 15-24th.
Jen Orth, our Congregational Administrator, is taking her time away as I type this so will remain available throughout the summer.
I am wishing you all the very best summer!
Rev. Charlotte
