We are currently accepting nominations for two prestigious congregational awards.
The Board is resuming the practice of recognizing the contributions and achievements of our members through the Virginia Grantham Service Award and the Joe and Joan Moore Award. We are asking the congregation for nominations for those whose record of service to FUUN and the wider community are a living demonstration of our values lived in the world and deserve recognition. Questions? Contact the board.
Virginia Grantham Service Award
The Virginia Grantham Service Award was established in 2005 to honor individuals whose volunteer contributions to the church during the year have been exemplary. The name of the award stands as a tribute to Virginia Grantham. A longtime leader of the Caring Committee, her service to FUUN has also included thousands of hours devoted to FUUN’s pre-school children. In the wider community, she has been extensively involved with organizations such as Family and Children Services, Alive Hospice, and the UN Association.
The Joe and Joan Moore Award
The Joe and Joan Moore Award was established a number of years ago to recognize individuals who have displayed long-term service at three levels:
This award is in honor of two members who demonstrated those traits for many years, Joe Moore and Joan Moore. We accept nominations for this prestigious award annually by December 1.
