Dear FUUN members and friends,

As we approach the end of 2024, I am filled with immense gratitude for all the ways you, our beloved community, have shown up. Your dedication, generosity, and service continue to inspire me and everyone who is blessed to be a part of this congregation. Our volunteers, staff, and members have faced the challenges of this year with open hearts and a shared commitment to the future of our faith community.

As we look ahead, we find ourselves at an exciting crossroads—embarking on the search for a new minister who will lead us into our next chapter together. This is an opportunity not only for discernment but also for deepening our sense of connection and purpose as a congregation. To make this vision a reality, we are launching a special Year-End Financial Appeal, with a goal of raising $60,000 to support both our immediate and future needs.

I am thrilled to announce that the Endowment Trust has generously offered a $0.50 per dollar match for the first $40,000 raised, which means your contribution will go even further! The money we raise will provide financial support for our ministerial search, as well as address the budget shortfall we previewed during our last congregational meeting. This appeal will ensure we can continue to sustain the life and ministries of our congregation. Our campaign will begin now and run until January 15, giving us time to come together and reach this vital goal. Every gift, no matter its size, will have a significant impact—especially with the matching opportunity in place.

Donations can be made by visiting our Giving Page. Then choose “Give to Year-End Gift” from the dropdown menu on the first line. Or, simply write “Year-End Gift” on the memo line of a check you can drop in the Sunday offering plate or mail to FUUN at 1808 Woodmont Blvd, Nashville, TN 37215.

Together, we’ve already overcome many challenges this year, and I am filled with hope for the future. We are a community rooted in love, resilience, and generosity, and I have no doubt that with your support, we will enter 2025 stronger than ever.

Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for all that you do, all that you give, and all that you are. It is an honor to walk this path with you.

With joy and gratitude,

Rachel Rogers
