Dear Friends and Supporters,
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for joining us on Sat., Feb. 22 to celebrate the historic clemency and homecoming of Leonard Peltier. Your presence made this gathering a powerful moment of reflection, resilience, and community.
A special thanks to Kevin Sharp, Leonard’s attorney, for sharing his insights and journey with us, to First Unitarian Universalist Church of Nashville for hosting us, and to photojournalist John Partipilo for capturing this moment. And of course, thank you to all who contributed—whether by bringing a dish, lending a hand, or simply standing in solidarity.
Leonard’s freedom is a testament to the power of collective action, and while we celebrate, the work for justice continues. Let’s carry this energy forward in the ongoing fight for Indigenous rights and freedom.
