NOAH End-of-Year Fundraiser – PLEASE HELP!

Our Church is a member of NOAH, a coalition of 60+ organizations spanning race, class and faith. NOAH aligns with our 2nd UU principle that calls for justice, equity and compassion. NOAH is effective, achieving positive change in all of its areas - affordable housing; criminal justice; education; and economic equity, jobs and transportation. In 2024 alone NOAH has successfully advocated for:

  • A property tax freeze to enable more low-income senior homeowners to stay in their homes,
  • A campaign for powerful police oversight despite the General Assembly’s dismantling of the Community Oversight Board,
  • A transit plan that will increase and upgrade routes, take cars off Nashville's overcrowded streets and help everyday workers get where they have to go, and
  • A policy change that increases public participation opportunities in Metro Nashville School Board Meetings.

NOAH has an unexpected funding shortfall this year - a faithful grantor itself has had a shortfall, leaving NOAH with a $60,000 gap it is asking members to fill by year-end. Please help NOAH now. Visit www.noahtn.org/donate to take the next step. Monthly donations from sustaining donors are welcome!  All donors will be recognized at NOAH’s in-person meeting on December 10, and those who give $500 or more for the shortfall will be invited to a donor appreciation event on January 12, 2025.
