Mark your calendars! The Ministerial Search Committee will announce the final candidate after the service on April 13th. The candidate will then be here from April 26th to May 4th, meeting with the Congregation and delivering two sermons. After the service on May 4th, a congregational meeting will be held to call the new minister. We’re hoping it will be unanimous!

We have begun in-person weekend interviews. We’ve met with one candidate and have more to interview. During these weekends, we interview the candidate and they interview us. We show them the campus and the city. They conduct a vespers service for us. We’ll be together with the candidate for almost 18 hours so we will know them very well by the time the weekend is over.

Just a reminder, please don’t ask us for any information on the candidates. We are not even allowed to reveal how many applicants and candidates we have. I’m sure you’re getting tired of hearing that, but confidentiality is extremely important to protect both the candidates and the other churches in search.

There were a lot of questions at the Mid-Year Congregational Meeting, so we’ve put together this list of FAQs. We will add to this as needed.

We appreciate your trust! Your Ministerial Search Committee consists of Steve Jones (chair), Carleen Dowell, Jeannie Haman, Bill Latimer, Pat Lynch, Doug Pasto-Crosby, and Jessica Young. If you are new to the Church and want to know more about our search, please email the team and someone on the Committee will contact you.
