NOAH's Economic Equity, Jobs & Transportation Task Force will host its 3rd forum for minority- and women-owned contractors interested in becoming qualified to bid on jobs in the East Bank, Antioch Mall, and other Metro Nashville development projects. The developer of the current East Bank project has agreed in principle to hire contractors from marginalized communities *if* they meet all the criteria (licensing, financing, HR practices, insurance coverage, etc.). Through these forums, which help marginalized contractors acquire the tools they need to be fully qualified, EEJT aims to hold the developer to its promise.
